AGENT SERIES/COMMERCIAL WORKSHOPS – Ages 5-18
This class provides on-camera commercial training, cold reading and audition technique with the opportunity for actors to audition with top talent agents, casting directors and managers. This workshop also provides a Parent Seminar covering: Labor regulations, contracts and commissions, difference between audition/callback/agent/manager, Coogan Law, work permits, headshots and resumes. If you want to get a head start and the right start in the entertainment industry, this is the workshop to take.

AUDITION TECHNIQUE – Ages 9-18
This workshop is “Highly Recommended” for those students who have agents and are auditioning for film, television and commercials. Training includes cold reading technique, singles/multi-person scenes, slating, sensory work, character breakdown, situation improv. and confidence in front of the camera.

PROFESSIONAL PERFORMING TROUPE – Ages 6-16
Introducing a youth MASTER Workshop for all levels. Students will be introduced to an in depth study that will enhance their overall training and sharpen their creative skills. This workshop is the next level for those who are serious about their passion for acting. The Instructor, Ms. Deirdre Weston, has over 15 years of experience, guarantees to make a difference. Admission by interview and audition.

ALL ABOUT KOMEDY - Ages 9-18
This class will cover the three basic comic standards: 1) Stand-Up also known as the Monologue, 2) The Situation or The Scene, and 3) Improvisation. We will cover different comedy styles. Our goal will be to look for the humor in any situation and play it the smartest way possible. There will be homework and meetings outside the regular scheduled class time. This course will give the student actor the skills needed to make stronger choices and play a scene smarter.

PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS

Theatrical Workshop
– Ages 5-8 - Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of acting techniques, theory, improvisation, theatre games and self-expression. Workshop is designed to combine professional training with creative dramatics in an environment that is both challenging and nurturing. Kids not only learn to hit their mark-they also learn that they too have a voice to be heard.

– Ages 9-18 - Workshop includes acting theory and technique for the beginning actor to sensory exercises, improvisation, monologues, scene work, character breakdown and development for the advanced actor.

Voice Workshop
– Ages 9-18 - Workshop includes singing and vocal development, projection and intonation, ear training and sight singing.

Interpretive Sign Language Workshop
– Ages 5-18 - Students will learn American Sign Language (ASL) as used in performance.

Dance Workshop
- Ages 5-18 - Workshop includes modern and jazz dance with hip-hop influences.

All Workshops will culminate in a showcase for family and friends.

Production Workshop
– Ages 9-18 - Workshop includes theatrical training culminating in a live production. Admission by audition and interview.
